This depends on a few different factors. We aim to service a wide area but primarily operate throughout majority of the Durham region and this large distance makes determining arrival time difficult. We strive for quick turnaround times and have staff readily available to facilitate your roadside needs.

What typically happens in a towing process?

Once dispatch receives a call and all necessary details are documented, available drivers are notified and set out immediately, making their way to the specified location. If necessary, a call from a driver may be placed to the customer while enroute to streamline communication and travel. Upon arrival, an assessment is conducted, and the driver determines the correct hookup and secure method for the inoperable vehicle. If needed, tow truck drivers often offer to transport customers to a safe location while driving the vehicle back to a specific location. Once the destination is reached, the vehicle is released in a safe location and the necessary paperwork is completed.

How much does towing a car cost on average?

This depends on a few different variables such as distance, type of vehicle, etc. Upon receiving the initial call, based on the information provided by the customer for the specified vehicle, a rough estimate can be determined. This is subject to change and is at the discretion of the provider.

Is towing always available for heavy duty vehicles?

Towing services are usually available for all vehicle types and confirmation of the type of vehicle during the initial inbound call is highly recommended to ensure the proper truck and equipment are procured for the job. Heavy duty trucks can be a blanket term encapsulating several types of vehicles at different weight classes and thus, discretion remains with the towing provider on whether the vehicle is towable by that service provider.
